GPS Greeks app for iPhone and iPad

GPS Greeks is a location sharing, messaging, and real time turn by turn direction tool. Designed to allow every member of a "chapter" to communicate with selected members or the entire "chapter".

It was designed with Fraternities and Sororities in mind, but any peer to peer relationships can use this app.

Register as many GPS Greeks chapters and sisters/brothers per chapter as you need.

Request the location of a brothers/sisters in real time and get directions at the touch of a button.

Send your location with a note like "My car broke down, is anyone near ?". The address of your location is derived from the GPS capability of your phone and sent to the member(s) you selected, and recipients can get turn-by-turn directions to you.

Send your current location and a note via email to anyone. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The recipient of your email can get directions to you even if theyre not an iPhone / iPod owner.

Send your location or a message to a single member, selected members, or all members of a chapter.

If you are lost or just aren’t clear about where you are, obtain your own location and send it to a member so that they can find you, or you can get directions from your current location to a chosen destination.

Save your current location, take a trip, and get directions back that point. Great when youre in a strange city!

Location data is automatically saved and date stamped so that you can recall the last known location of a member and when they were there. Then get directions from your current location to that archived location.

This app uses the Apple Notification Service so it does NOT need to be open to receive requests. The app will open and process requests at the users discretion. Have Fun and Be Safe!!!
